How I got started

My passion for photography began as a little girl growing up in the Midwest. You could always catch me outdoors exploring around our country home. I remember being captivated by what I saw out in the woods and neighboring fields. Once I received my first camera as a child, it was a fun way to capture those natural wonders.

That passion grew as the years passed by. My heart strives for outdoor adventure while hiking on trails, traversing the waters by kayak or paddle board. You can also catch me on my boat chasing sunsets and wildlife. I'm always up for an adventure with my camera in tow.



There are endless parts of nature that fascinate me from intricate details on an acorn cap or the textures of plants and moss. The snow capped mountain tops with blooming valleys of wildflowers beckon me. Calm lakes, whispering streams, and raging waterfalls exhilarate my senses. The way the sun would set the sky aglow as it entered or left the skyline would take my breath away. The way a family of raccoons scurrying along a creek bank would bring a smile to my face. These are the moments I like to freeze in time.
